Privacy Policy

Last updated: EFFECTIVE_DATE

This Privacy Policy explains how COMPANY_NAME ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use APP_NAME (the "Service"). By using the Service at APP_URL, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: name, email, and identifiers from your authentication provider (e.g., Google/Clerk).
  • Product Content You Provide: chat messages, notes, goals, schedule items, and preferences you create in APP_NAME.
  • Google Data (only if you connect Google):
    • Calendar (scope: calendar.events): create, read, update, and delete events on calendars you can access.
    • Gmail (scopes vary based on features you enable): send email (gmail.send); manage drafts and send (gmail.compose); read messages metadata/content or apply labels (gmail.readonly / gmail.modify).
  • Usage Data: device/browser metadata, timestamps, and diagnostic logs to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve APP_NAME features.
  • Sync and manage your calendar events when you opt in.
  • If enabled, fetch recent emails and/or manage drafts/sending per the Gmail scopes you granted.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
  • Communicate about updates and support.

3. Data Minimization and Storage

  • We store only what is necessary to provide the Service (e.g., event metadata, message headers/snippets when you enable email features).
  • We do not store Gmail message bodies unless a feature explicitly requires it and you choose to use that feature (e.g., creating a draft).
  • OAuth tokens are stored securely and refreshed by standard Google OAuth flows.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with subprocessors that help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, error monitoring), under agreements that require appropriate safeguards.

5. Security

We use industry‑standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest and limit employee access by role. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continuously improve our safeguards.

6. Your Choices

  • Unlink Google at any time from Settings to revoke access and stop future sync.
  • Request deletion by following the steps at APP_URL/legal/data-deletion or contacting us.
  • Export your content by contacting support.

7. International Transfers

We may process data in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. We implement appropriate safeguards for cross‑border transfers as required by applicable law.

8. Children

APP_NAME is not directed to children under 13 (or a higher age as required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect such data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the updated date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
